Transition Mouldings

Transition mouldings, also known as transition strips or transition profiles, are used to bridge the gap between different types of flooring or between different heights of flooring within a space. They serve both functional and aesthetic purposes, ensuring a smooth and safe transition between floors.

Thresholds: Used at doorways to transition between different flooring types, such as from hardwood to carpet or tile.

Reducer Strips: Used to transition from a higher floor surface (like hardwood) to a lower one (like vinyl or laminate).

  • T-Mouldings: Used to transition between two floors of the same height but different materials, such as between two types of laminate flooring.
  • End Caps: Used at the end of a floor installation where the flooring meets a wall or other surface.
  • Quarter Rounds and Baseboards: Sometimes used to cover gaps and provide a finished look around the edges of flooring.

  • Luxury Vinyl Flooring

Luxury vinyl flooring (LVF) is a high-end type of vinyl flooring designed to mimic the appearance of natural materials like wood or stone while offering enhanced durability and performance. It's popular in both residential and commercial settings due to its combination of style, ease of maintenance, and resilience.

  • Wear Layer: The top layer of LVF is a clear, durable coating that protects against scratches, stains, and general wear. This layer is often thicker in luxury vinyl products for added durability.
  • Design Layer: Beneath the wear layer, this layer features a high-resolution print that replicates the look of wood, stone, or other materials. Advanced printing technologies ensure realistic textures and patterns.

  • Types of Luxury Vinyl Flooring:

    • Plank: Designed to mimic the appearance of wood planks, offering various styles, lengths, and widths.
    • Tile: Designed to look like ceramic or stone tiles, available in various sizes and patterns.
